Are you aged 16-24 and looking for an opportunity to gain on the job experience whilst working towards a qualification? If so, a Modern Apprenticeship within Perth & Kinross Council could be what you are looking for……….

The Safer Communities Team works with other agencies and services to promote Community Safety, Public Protection and Community Justice. This is a uniformed role that requires daytime, evening and weekend working in a fixed rota.

Safer Community Wardens are involved in a wide range of activities - youth issues, anti social behaviour, school and home visits and problem solving.

Our Modern Apprentice will be treated like any member of the Team and will carry out the full duties of a Warden whilst working closely with another team-member.

This is an interesting and varied role which will gives the post holders excellent opportunities to gain experience, and to help others and their communities.

The experience gained will help our Modern Apprentice provide evidence for a number of roles they may aspire to in the future in Safer Communities, Fire and Police services, Social Work or Education.
