Seasonal Student, Flooding PKC10198
£20,459 Fixed Term (until 29.09.2023)
Pullar House, 35 Kinnoull Street, Perth PH1 5GD

Duties will include carrying out and assisting staff in the inspection of watercourses throughout the Council area. Other duties may include assisting in the preparation and supervision of watercourse clearance and repair works, development control work and investigating, and reporting on, flood events.

Applicants must be able to cope with the demands of the post and effective computer skills are essential, as is the ability to work on your own initiative. There may also be the need to assist with design work, so applicants need to be conversant with Microsoft Office applications

The Individual

You must have, or be studying for, an appropriate qualification in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) preferably, but not essential.

A full driving licence is essential.
