Newhill Primary School and Early Learning Centre, Blairgowrie

Newhill Early Learning Centre (ELC) is looking for an experienced Senior Early Childhood Practitioner to join the team at Blairgowrie Community Campus.

You will work in combination with our Acting Principal Early Childhood Practitioner and Senior Early Childhood Practitioner leading and managing the setting. You will also support an experienced and committed team of Early Childhood Practitioners supporting play and learning within our setting.

We are a 45 week setting with 122 children from 2-5 years.

The Individual

You must have experience in a childcare environment and hold the relevant qualifications for the post (e.g SVQ3 in Childcare and Early Years or an HNC in childcare and education or equivalent).

The successful candidate would be expected to undertake the BA in Early Childhood practice or equivalent that meets the requirements for SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council).

Experience as a Senior Early Childhood Practitioner is preferred but not essential.

You will be committed to providing a high standard of care and learning.

You will have a range of skills and attributes demonstrating excellence in supporting all aspects of learning through play.
