Senior Financial Assessment Officer, Perth PKC11329

You will lead a team of Financial Assessment Officers which provides advice and support to people receiving chargeable social care services, ensuring that people are charged appropriately for those services and that they are receiving all the benefits they should be. The ideal candidate will be able to drive forward new ways of working, contribute to team plans and monitor workload to maximise performance. Demonstrating the ability to implement associated legislative, governance and financial regulations. Have experience of preparing reports and attend internal/external meetings on behalf of the Council.

We are looking for someone who will provide leadership and direction to the team, motivating them to achieve our goals whilst supporting some of our most vulnerable citizens.
For purposes of connection and collaboration with colleagues and with the community we serve, our full-time employees work on site for a minimum of 2 days per week with the arrangements for part time employees being agreed on a basis which will ensure that they benefit to an equivalent degree.
