Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership are delighted to seek applications for a Contracts Officer to join our Contracts and Commissioning Team. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is fully committed to delivering positive outcomes for people who use Social Care services in Renfrewshire.
The post will support with the management of social care contracts ensuring the delivery of outcomes for individuals who use services, value for money and timely and accurate performance and management information. You must have effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to prioritise your workload; work as part of a team as well as on your own.
It is essential that you have a knowledge of the Social Care sector and the Strategic Commissioning Cycle. Reporting to the Senior Commissioning Officer, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to maintain effective working relationships on behalf of the HSCP with service providers and other key stakeholders.
You will be Educated to HNC/SVQ3 as a minimum or be able to demonstrate or be able to demonstrate relevant professional experience. Through critical analysis and correlation of complex data in relation to the effectiveness and efficiency of a wide range of models of service the Contracts Officer will produce management information, and, performance reports as required, to support the development of services within Renfrewshire.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG).
Please note this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding for 24 months or until the requirement for this post ceases, whichever date is the sooner.
