An exciting opportunity has presented itself to lead a busy and vibrant operational team.

 

 

The role of the Council Tax Lead Officer is for a person who embraces change, demonstrates strong leadership skills while having the ability to manage staff/workload in a team environment.

 

 

Expert knowledge of Council Tax administration and legislation along with extensive working knowledge of I-World and Enterprise is essential.

 

 

It is imperative that you can understand key drivers in a business area and respond to demands to deliver services to a high standard and have a strong track record of being a team player within a process driven environment and the ability to manage and monitor incoming calls as well as arrange resources.

 

 

Effective literacy and numeracy skills aswell as experience of standard computer systems including Microsoft Office packages is required.

 

 

Knowledge of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction legislation and administration are desirable.

 

 

You must have the ability to positively prioritize your own and team workload and must also be qualified to SVQ Level 3 in Business Administration, equivalent experience or willing to work towards the qualification.

 

 

Interviews incorporating a scenario based activity will take place on week commencing 5^th June 2023.
