MAPPA & Service Development Co-ordinator

This post is based within Housing Advice and Homeless Services. You will take a lead role in developing procedures and information sharing protocols with partners for the re-housing of sex-offenders, provide a single point of contact for accommodation requests from partners and liaise with responsible authorities and housing providers on on-going risk management and community safety issues.
You will have a key strategic role in the development of Homeless services in Renfrewshire and provide management support to the accommodation team whilst managing a team of staff who will assist in the administration and sharing of information to partner agencies
You should have relevant experience including policy development and joint working with external organisations and other housing providers aswell as a working knowledge of homelessness and developments in national housing policy
You will have experience in collating all relevant statistical and performance data, ability to analyse and report trends and performance against targets including data and statistical information required by the Scottish Government.
A knowledge of IT systems and applications and effective presentation, reporting and communication skills are required for the role.
You should be articulate and enthusiastic, have the ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, be able to demonstrate initiative, decision-making skills, and ability to motivate staff and partners and represent the department in corporate and external forums.
Normal hours of duty are 35 hours per week to be worked as directed between Monday to Sunday.
