Operational Support Officer (Soft FM) (Nutrition & Menu) (Permanent)

Renfrewshire Council is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled Assistant Facilities Co-ordinator (Nutrition & Menu) to work within the Soft Facilities Management service, based in Renfrewshire House.

You will be responsible for the creation, development and management of all menus for allpre-5 facilities, schools and HSCP premises across Renfrewshire, ensuring they meet with the requirements of all nationally published legislation and regulations. Also you will have responsibility for ensuring value for money and effective utilisation of financial resources – achieving targets for meal uptake and purchases. 

It is essential that the you have aREHIS Elementary Food Safety Certificate and have a degree or equivalent in a catering/nutrition-based subject. You must have experience of working within a local authority catering environment, have knowledge of nutritional standards and experience in menu planning. 

You will have a working knowledge of MS Office suite and have effective oral and written
communication skills.

It is desirable that you have knowledge of nutritional software and a current driving licence.

The ability to work on a flexible basis is essential for the role.
