Note: There are two posts:

1-year maternity post, commencing in 2024

9 months Acting up post, due to commence as soon as possible.

 

 

Role Purpose

Assistant Team Leader posts x2 have become vacant in the Eildon locality temporarily.

The post holder will replace a 1-year maternity post, commencing in 2024 & 1 post covering 9 months Acting up post, due to commence as soon as possible.

The Eildon team on a whole provides support & assistance to adults living within the area from the ages of 16 and above – needing support and assistance to live independently. The Team is made up of Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and paraprofessionals.

The successful post holder will be responsible for the leadership and operational guidance for assessment, care management and reviewing services within the team and other responsibilities such as; screening of referrals, authorisations of assessments & support plans, dealing with self-directed support matters, duty etc.

The post holder is required to have knowledge and understanding of Legislations and Polices pertinent to the service, and overall understanding of processes and IT skills required in Adult services.

 

Essential

Applicants must possess a recognised professional qualification in Social Work

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
