Role Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity to join an enthusiastic and forward-looking team of 8 Educational Psychologists in the Scottish Borders on a permanent, full-time basis. SBC EPS is a supportive, innovative service with excellent relationships with schools, Education Service senior leadership and multi-agency partners. We have a clear focus on applying psychology with a strong emphasis on intervention and assessment using consultation, and we commit 40% of our working time to training and research to support the effective inclusion of all young people.

 

Essential

You will be fully registered as an Educational Psychologist in the United Kingdom with the Health and Care Professions Council (or working towards the relevant Qualification in Educational Psychology as a current Year 3 Trainee Educational Psychologist.)

You will have an Honours Degree (or equivalent) in Psychology, and an accredited postgraduate qualification (minimum stage 1) in educational psychology.
