Role Purpose

You will be a member of a central peripatetic team working across identified Early Learning and Childcare settings, (schools and/or partner providers,) to support and improve quality of Early Learning and Childcare provision in Scottish Borders Council in the areas where children face the greatest disadvantage, under the direction of the Improvement and Support Officer

Essential

BA Childhood Practice or SCQF Level 9 Professional Development Award;
HNC in Early Education and Childcare/ SVQ Level 3 in Social Services (Children and Young People) (SCQF level 7) or equivalent;
Evidence of on-going professional development and CPD

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
