This is a 38 week post, working hours will be during school term only, the salary will be pro-rated accordingly.  Please note the salary advertised is full time (337 hours per week, 52 weeks per year).

Role Purpose

Assist in the preparation, production and service of food as required under the supervision of the Cook and will assist in the promotion of the ethos of Better Eating Better Learning within the school environment.

Essential

Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate / RIPHH Certificate or must be willing to achieve within 6 months
Basic numeracy and literacy

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. * If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a drivers licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability. Should it be possible to make such an adjustment in order that you can undertake the travel responsibilities of the post, this will be taken into account in consideration for this role.
