Role Purpose
Vacancies have arisen in the Scottish Welfare Fund Team to join the benefits assessment and advice staff specifically making decisions on applications for financially based welfare and support funds including for example Scottish Welfare Fund, Discretionary Housing Payments,, Educational Benefits, etc in line with legislation, guidance and regulations.
The post-holder will deal with first point of contact enquiries and also deal with referred enquiries from Customer Advice and Support Service Advisors or other Council staff or third party agencies.
Essential
• At least 5 SCE Standard Grades at level 3 or above (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics or Arithmetic.
• Comparable relevant experience
