What is the role?

To participate, as a member of Property Maintenance Team, in delivering a comprehensive building maintenance service to the Council, ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act and any other relevant legislation and policies of the Council.

The Grade of these posts are Grade 1 / Level 4, the hourly rate is from £12.11 to £12.42 and the annual salary is from £23,364 to £23,962.

Please note the post holder will work 37 hours per week:

Monday - 8.00am to 4.30pm; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 8.00am to 4.00pm; Friday - 8.00am to 3.00pm

These posts are considered to be Regulated Work with children and protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007.  Accordingly, the preferred candidates will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.  If you wish further information on the PVG Scheme you can visit the Disclosure Scotland website at www.disclosurescotland.co.uk.
