Job Description

What is the role?

To undertake duties connected with the removal of domestic, commercial and industrial refuse from all types of locations by working as part of a team to carry out waste collection.

To undertake driving duties involving LGV refuse collection vehicles, recycling, street cleaning and other waste management vehicles. To be responsible for the crew and the vehicle on a daily basis.

Extra information:

The Grade of this post is Grade 2 / Level 5, the hourly rate is £12.76 to £13.80 and the annual salary is £24,618 to £26,624 plus 5% non core allowance.  Please note this post is temporary for 26 weeks.

Please note the post holder will work 37 hours:

Week 1: Monday - Thursday 0545am - 1400pm, Friday 0545am - 1330pm

Week 2: Tuesday - Thursday 1345pm - 2200pm, Saturday 0600am - 1400pm, Sunday 0600am -  1400pm

Week 3: Monday 1345pm - 2200pm, Friday 1315pm -  2100pm, Saturday 0600am - 1800pm, Sunday 0600am - 1800pm
