Job Description
What is the role?
To work as part of a team in the provision of family support services to vulnerable families and children in need.
The remit of this post will require working with vulnerable young people, through care and aftercare and youth justice services. The post holder will work in a busy and dynamic team undertaking programmed and individual work. You will work within a multi-agency setting with a range of relevant partners. Relevant training to the post will be provided.
The post holder will carry out these tasks within the framework of relevant legislation, Council Policy and procedures.

The Grade of this post is Grade 2 / Level 8. The hourly rate is from £18.52 to £20.18. The annual salary is from £33,799 - £36,828.
This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
