Job Description
What is the role?
Under the direction of the Co-Ordinator, lead a team in providing local community services in a specific geographical area and have a thematic responsibility for one of the service priorities:
Employability & Skills; Community Learning and Development; Community Safety; Community Engagement; Health and Wellbeing
This post will be responsible driving forward South Ayrshire Councils vision to work alongside communities to support them to develop and publish local place plans.

The Grade of this post is Grade 3 / Level 11; the hourly rate is from £23.54 to £25.01 and the annual salary is from £42,960 to £45,643. Please note this post is temporary for 12 months.
The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly between home and the office and the frequency for attending the office may vary depending on the exigencies of the service.
This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
