Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at our new secondary specialist provisions in Stirling, which opened in August 2023. The new specialist provisions will meet the needs of autistic young people and those with more complex additional support needs. We are seeking two permanent Support for Learning Assistants (SLAs) for Bannockburn High School specialist provision. The successful candidates will have experience in supporting children and young people. Knowledge of autism and appropriate support strategies is desirable. The successful candidates will be kind, flexible, supportive, understanding and able to listen & respond appropriately to young people. They will be a valued part of a team, working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to provide an appropriate environment, learning and support to meet the holistic needs of the young people.
