Job Description

Graduate/Planning Officer (Development Planning), Maternity Cover until May 2025. The position, covering the Stirling Local Development Plan area, offers an exciting opportunity for either a newly qualified or recent graduate, or a chartered planner, who possesses a passion for people and places, to work in an area encompassing diverse urban and rural places and landscapes, rich in history and character. Specifically, the role involves contributing to the production of the Council’s next Local Development Plan and assisting local communities with the preparation of Local Place Plans. Applicants who do not hold chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI) are welcome to apply for this role, although it would be at a lesser grade.
