Housing Services within Stirling Council are currently looking to recruit a Joiner to work with our in-house trade teams.
We currently provide Repairs and Maintenance services across our housing portfolio as well as undertaking Capital Investment works, Major Adaptations and Refurbishments.
The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of Joinery works in our void properties as well as assist with Capital Investment works such as kitchen/bathroom replacement, along with the installation of aids and adaptations as well as participate in renovation and refurbishments works.
Experience of timber-kit panel manufacture as well as site construction of kit and closed panel insulated systems would also be advantageous.
You will also be a part of our day-to-day repairs and maintenance team for our Housing stock.
The successful candidate must have a full driving licence and must participate in an out of hours standby/emergency service.
The post requires working both individually and as part of an integrated team liaising with fellow trades people, management and Stirling Council tenants.
