Job Description

Stirling Council Schools, Learning and Education Service seeks to appoint qualified, motivated and experienced School Counsellors to work with our Learning Communities, as part of our School Counselling Service. You will be a highly skilled and values led professional who is passionate about supporting the emotional wellbeing of children and young people between the ages of 10-18 years. We ensure that all staff have access to supervision, and provide regular opportunities for team contact, support and professional learning. Applications are invited from qualified Counsellors with experience of working with children and young people between the ages of 10-18 years. Registration with an appropriate a professional body relating to counselling is required, such as the BACP or COSCA. We are looking to recruit School Counsellors on a fixed term basis initially until summer 2024. We will consider flexible working patterns including consideration of school term time working.
