Job Description
An exciting employment opportunity has arisen at Facilities Management, Stirling Council for 2 School Crossing Patrollers in support of St Mary’s Primary School in Bannockburn.
The successful candidates will provide a safe roads crossing facility for parents and their children in support of the St Mary’s Episcopal Primary School community on a 6.25 hours per week/ term-time basis.
Start and Finish times will be dependent upon the operating times of the local school, however, they are 45 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon (generally 08:20 to 09:05 & 15:00 to 15:30).
This role is paid at Stirling Council Grade 2 which is £12.45 per hour. Applicants should be prepared to work alone outdoors and in inclement weather. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes or is able to work short hours and provide an important and invaluable road safety service in their community.
Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications. No previous experience is necessary as full training will be made available, personal protective equipment (PPE), tools and training will be provided where necessary.Requirements
