Job Description

West Dunbartonshire HSCP Community Reablement Service is a newly established team, dedicated to providing short-term input to help our client's regain their independence following illness or injury. We have a vacancy for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Administrative Support Assistant.

We are seeking applicant's with a confident, calm manner and a pro-active, positive outlook. Day- to-day duties will include registering and receiving referrals, supporting with audit and data management, diary management and minute taking. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills, are IT literate to a high standard and can demonstrate effective organisation and time management.

Requirements

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults and/or Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.

Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.

Responsibilities

The employment for which you are applying is excepted from the provisions of section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975.

Applicants are, therefore, not statutorily entitled to withhold information about convictions which for other purposes are "spent" under the provisions of the Act. In the event of employment any failure to disclose such convictions could result in dismissal or disciplinary action.
