Job Description

We are looking to recruit a bank of Assistant Care at Home Organisers to assist with management of our Care at Home service out of office hours. We are also looking for a bank of organisers who will work during the nights, shifts will normally be between 10pm to 7.30am. Working as part of our dedicated team, your role will involve the timely coordination of our Home Carers, Sheltered Housing Supervisors, and Mobile Attendants based out in the community and also, managing the needs and expectations of our clients and their family members. The ability to work under pressure and as part of a team is essential, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise your own workload in line with the needs of the service. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar role/environment and have a caring and compassionate nature, always putting the needs of our clients first.

Requirements

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.

Responsibilities
