Job Description

This is a part-time post the salary will be pro rata to the hours worked.

2 vacancies for Queens Quay Clydebank, 18 Hours

1 vacancy for Crosslet House, Dumbarton, 18 Hours

We are delighted to offer the opportunity to highly motivated applicants who have a passion for working with older adults. The successful candidates will offer flexible support in the role of Bus Escort working and supporting older adults during their transport to and from the Day Centre(s) and be responsible for ensuring their comfort, safety and security whilst travelling to and from the Day Centre(s).

The post holder will ensure all Authority procedures are followed in terms of safety and personal care of each service user and work in collaboration with Driver Services and the Day Centre(s) in meeting the delivery of the service and service users' needs.

Requirements

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.

Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
