Job Description

The Individual

We are looking for an enthusiastic and suitably experienced team member who can join our newly formed Climate Change and Energy team and help us reach our net zero ambitions.

The District Heating Network Lead will play an important role in this team and with a suitably qualified background in energy and operational management, will take a lead role in managing and developing our District Heating Network.

In addition to monitoring Network Operator performance, this role will also support the wider team to work with a range of partners to develop and expand the Network. For more information on our current development in Clydebank, please visit https://queens-quay.co.uk/residential-4/.

Applicants should hold an appropriate degree, or equivalent level qualification in a related relevant field as this is an essential requirement of the post.

Our Team

The Climate Change and Energy team sits within the Council's Economic Development Service and benefits from collaborative working across our Regeneration and Business Support teams.

The Climate Change and Energy team is responsible for developing and implementing the Council's Climate Change Strategy and Action Plan and the Local Heat and Energy Efficiency Strategy, as well as managing and expanding the award winning Queens Quay District Heating Network.
