Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team at Clydebank Town Hall, an iconic B-listed building incorporating a historic exterior and modern spacious interior which houses events space, a museum, gallery, and Council offices.

Our ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have a proven track record in event, facilities or venue management with a passion for delivering excellent service.

Acting as the lead officer on site, the postholder will oversee all elements of service delivery to ensure the successful operation of the Town Hall, including managing staff and budgets. Working as part of a small and committed team, they will be leading the effective day to day operation of the Town Hall and its many functions and ensuring seamless delivery of events including weddings, celebration, corporate functions and shows.

With proven experience in the operation of a successful venue and leading events, you will be joining the team at a time where you can actively contribute to our future success.

The successful candidate will also be involved in supporting colleagues in the effective and efficient provision of quality facilities management services ensuring objectives, financial targets and performance standards are met and representing the service manager where required.

The ideal candidate should also be detail-orientated and highly productive with a proactive and flexible approach.

This is a 35 hours contract working predominantly 5 days over 7. and due to the nature of the business it will involve evening and weekend work.

Requirements

The preferred candidate will be required to complete a Basic Disclosure check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.

Responsibilities
