Job Description

This is a fixed term post until 23/02/2024.

West Dunbartonshire Council have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to be one of our Administration Apprentices.

The role will involve providing advice, information, technical and administrative support for the Planning and Building Standards Services to deliver an effective service to all customers.

The candidate will also be expected to deliver excellent customer care and meet strategic objectives and performance targets, while providing technical and administrative support to support the work of Planning Officers and Building Standards Surveyors.

Working as part of a team you will contribute to the delivery of an effective integrated Regulatory and Council Service.

The modern apprentice will follow the Level 3 Business and Administration Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) Modern Apprenticeship.

If you are aged 16-24 years (or up to age 29, if you are disabled or care experienced), resident within West Dunbartonshire, have 3 National Grade 5's (one to include English) or equivalent or any other relevant qualifications and experience and are a proactive person with an interest in planning and building standards services we would like to hear from you.
