Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for 2 Sheltered Housing Supervisors.
Post 1 - 16 hours, Willox Park, Permanent.
As this is a part time post and the salary will be pro-rata to the number of hours worked. The successful candidate must be available to work weekends.
Post 2 - 37 hours, Peripatetic, Permanent.
The Sheltered Housing Supervisor provides personal care for Sheltered Housing Tenants. They also have responsibility for the general communal maintenance, as well as, security and supervision of the premises. The supervisors also arrange activities and encourage tenants to maintain their independence and promote their
involvement in the wider community.
The post holder will have responsibility to provide support to service users, assisting them to live as independently as possible while protecting the vulnerable, promoting independence and social inclusion.
There will also be a requirement to communicate with various agencies and compile reports.
The posts also provide assistance to the Community Alarm team and home care teams within various locations throughout West Dunbartonshire.
Applicants must have an Level 2 SVQ in Social Care or other related Social Care Qualification as this is an essential requirement of the role.
