Job Description

Due to expansion and retirements we are currently recruiting multiple teaching posts at Kilpatrick School. We are a large all through Additional Support for Learning School with a roll of over 200. We havean Early Intervention Service (KEYS), Primary and Secondary classes. We are located on a large campus in Dalmuir, Clydebank. We have extensive outdoor space and facilities including our own Forest School site, an adventure play park and outdoor all weather pitches. Our Secondary School is a modern, purpose built facility which houses it's own hydrotherapy pool. In addition we have other fabulous in school resources including light rooms and a soft play in our Primary. We also have our own hospitality kitchen, hairdressing salon, a home making room, school shop, music, science and art classrooms.

We would welcome applications from both Primary and also Secondary teachers qualified In Home Economics and Technical Education. We would also welcome applications from teachers who have experience of working in similar ASL settings. However, what matters to us most of all is that you are a nurturing, dynamic, creative teacher who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with additional support for learning needs. This post is considered as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here. Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
