The successful candidate should be able to teach Mathematics to pupils from S1 to S6, but may be asked to teach some P6 and/or P7. The ability to offer teaching Higher or Advanced Higher (Mathematics, Mechanics and/or Statistics) would be an advantage, as would the ability to offer an additional subject such as Physics, Computing, and/or Engineering Science. All members of the teaching staff are expected to assume a pastoral role within the School and to contribute to the School’s co-curricular programme.
Appointment Terms
- This is a permanent post that will become available on Monday 18 August 2025.
- The position will be 0.4 FTE, 2 days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday for the academic year 2025/26).
- The salary for the post will be in line with the Scottish Teacher scales and commensurate with experience, plus the current Albyn School allowance.
- Service is pensionable as a member of the SPPA Scottish Teacher’s Pension Scheme.
