Learning Support and Development Advisor

Full Time, 35hrs per week

Salary: Grade 6 £34,166 - £37,060 per annum (Successful candidates will commence at £34,166 per annum)

Location: City and/or Riverside Campuses

We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join the Student Experience Directorate. As a Learning Support and Development Advisor you will assess students’ additional support needs, arrange support interventions and monitor impact and outcomes to help ensure student success.

You will work in partnership to develop and deliver inclusive services to students with a disability or additional support need. As part of an innovative team, you will facilitate pre-entry activities, offer students a responsive mentoring service, you will demonstrate assistive technologies, deliver skills development workshops and support a positive student experience.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and have experience of working with people with a disability or additional support need. You will have experience of developing and delivering inclusive services, be highly motivated and it is important that you have the ability to create a supportive environment through coaching and mentoring.

Experience of working within an educational setting is desirable.
