Eden Park Academy is offering an opportunity for a dynamic, passionate and innovative professional to lead a professional and dedicated team to ensure outstanding experiences and outcomes in our very small independent school catering for children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

We provide individualised education for young people who are accommodated within our children’s homes or on day placement from local authorities, and have a track record of transforming lives through education.

The school has a very small roll and our young people are taught in very small groups. Their learning accelerates quickly due to the targeted support given to them.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for coordinating the curriculum and staff, with a focus on skills for learning, life and work, enterprise and employability, partnerships and health and wellbeing. Good organisational skills, passion for education and pupil progress and a holisitic view of education are very important in this rewarding role. You will maintain excellent relationships with corporate parents and take a key role in thinking creatively to facilitate life-changing experiences for our young people.

Applicants must be fully GTCS registered and have suitable teaching experience. It is not essential to have held a promoted post previously as a high level of support is provided from the Head of Education.
