Location - You will be employed initially at Edinburgh College: Cross Campus, but you may be required to serve at other workplaces and to travel during the course of your employment.

Role/Subject Specific Information

Edinburgh College is looking to recruit Educational Support Workers.

Our Access & Continuing Education Team (ACE) delivers a range of courses to students with Additional Support Needs, from SCQF Levels 1 to 5.

Educational Support Worker provide support to students, to help them understand and participate in classes.

What you will offer us

You will have NC/SVQ level 2 (SCQF level 5) in Health & Social Care, or equivalent and relevant experience, preferably in the education sector. Working with young people and adults with barriers to learning including disabilities,person-centred working with excellent interpersonal, communication and numeric skills are also essential.

Successful candidates may be required to work at any Edinburgh College campus
