Edinburgh College’s Waterfront Nursery has an exciting opportunity for Bank staff. This flexible working option allows practitioners and support workers the chance to work hours that work for their schedule. We are looking for qualified practitioners and support workers to join our new Bank staff team. You will be guaranteed a minimum of 20 hours in the 12-month period from when you join and you are then able to work up to a maximum of 35 hours per week if you choose to and there are hours available for you.

We will have options for you to tell us the hours you are available to work and also for you to choose to be on call to cover last minute sickness if needed.

We will provide training and development opportunities to work both indoors and outdoors with children from 2 months to school age.

Your role will include:

Playing and interacting with our children

Supporting children during snack and lunch times

Providing personal care for children

Feeding back to parents and passing information to your team when collecting children or dropping them off with their parents

Supporting children’s learning inside and outside, monitoring and observing practice and contributing to assessments for children.
