As part of the Finance Department you will support the Central Stores Team to ensure that all physical goods received and returned by the College are managed effectively. You will act as first port of call for external deliveries to Central Stores and ensure all deliveries to the College are efficiently receipted and recorded appropriately within the College Finance System.

It is essential you have a good standard of numeracy, literacy and computer use (including MS Office), as well as experience of working in a Customer Service or Administrative environment. Effective team working, communication skills, strong time management and planning skills, are also essential along with the ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and be able to communicate effectively in a friendly manner to build good rapport with internal customers, colleagues and external suppliers.

The position will involve the handling and moving of goods and therefore a working knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation including safe working practices and manual handling is desirable.
