Head of Finance

The High School of Dundee is a co-educational Independent Day School for children aged 3 to 18 years, located right in the heart of Dundee. The School offers an Integrated Curriculum, providing a coordinated, genuine all-round education with the pupil at heart. It enables a tradition for academic excellence to run in unison with a wide-ranging co-curricular programme as well as a highly developed and supportive pastoral care system. The School has an exciting opportunity for a new Head of Finance, responsible for the daily management of the finance function, finance system and associated bodies/organisations under the responsibility of the School.

Due to an internal promotion, this position is currently vacant, therefore start date can be subject to the successful candidate’s availability. Due to the position being vacant, interviews may commence throughout the application period, however no offers will be made until after the application deadline date.

Holidays: 37 days of which 10 days will be kept aside for the School’s Christmas shut down.

Pension: An auto-enrolment pension scheme is available provided by The Pensions’ Trust (TPT) with the contribution rates set at 4% for employees and 8% for the employer as well as defined contribution pension scheme with employee contribution rates set at 7% or 10% with the employer contributing 13.55%. Fee Remission: Fee Remission for staff children educated at the School and Nursery (subject to the respective Admissions Policy).
