The Catering Assistant will be required to assist in the preparation of food, serving of meals and tilling. The Catering Assistant is also instrumental in helping to keep the kitchen running smoothly by making sure everything is clean, tidy, safe and hygienic. This role involves the operation of cleaning equipment and good physical health and fitness is paramount due to the nature of the physical demands of the job.
Working hours are 16 hours a week during the school session:
Monday to Thursday 11.45am - 3pm and Friday 12 noon - 3pm
The successful candidate must demonstrate their Right to Work in the UK and will be required to apply for a Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Membership.
