Lomond School is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school offering an all-round education for pupils aged 3-18. We have a strong reputation for consistently achieving high academic standards, balanced with a healthy outdoor environment in a welcoming family-like atmosphere.

We are the first school in Scotland to offer two International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes alongside our SQA subjects, and we are the only boarding school in the West of Scotland.

We are now looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to be responsible for all our promotional activities and brand communications. Reporting directly to the Principal, this is a diverse role working closely with the marketing team as well as the Registrar and Senior Leadership Team. You will be required to plan and implement our overall marketing strategy, which includes advertising campaigns, social media activity, website development, events, alumni activities, PR, research, as well as be involved in the production of various marketing materials. An important aspect will be maintaining the high quality and consistency of all our marketing communications in line with established brand guidelines and set budgets.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with the requisite skills to join a small, friendly team and make an important contribution to the ongoing success of the school. You will be expected to uphold and promote the ethos and values of Lomond School, and work proactively and collaboratively to ensure effective marketing of the school is delivered to both internal and external clients.

We’re looking for someone educated to a minimum of SQA Higher level (or equivalent) with sound marketing experience, ideally in an education environment, and an appreciation for strong brand communications. This role is about being proactive and using your initiative when opportunities arise. Good organisational and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to interact well with children. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

The normal hours of work will be 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. There may be some weekend or evening working.
