An opportunity has arisen within our Finance Department for a Finance Business Partner (Research Grants and External Funding). This role will provide first class support to the staff in the University in the costing and administrative support of research grants and contracts activity.
The ideal candidate will have carried out a similar role in another university or other research organisation and be looking to advance their career and experience in a progressive department.
You will provide support in delivering a high quality, proactive financial management and management information service to the budget holders and managers within the University, and to external stakeholders in respect of externally funded projects. This is a key role in ensuring that the performance of externally funded awards is controlled, monitored and reported upon in compliance with all internal and external regulations and terms and conditions
