We’re in the business of changing lives, developing students into highly employable graduates.

Be part of their amazing journey by joining 1500 colleagues who already enjoy the vibrant community, richly rewarding work, competitive pay and lifestyle afforded by generous holidays and flexible working options.

We’ve come a long way since 1750 when the original college was founded at the bequest of Robert Gordon. The University today generates an annual group income of around £92 million, employs 1500 staff and delivers courses to over 15,000 students.

We've invested more than £100 million in the last 10 years in new buildings and facilities. A further investment of over £120 million in the next decade will see all of the University's academic activities located at our riverside campus in Aberdeen.

This is no ordinary place to work. We have a team of highly committed staff who are pivotal to our success and enjoy state-of-the art facilities in one of the most beautiful campuses in Europe.

Covid 19 Update

Due to the COVID-19 situation, RGU’s recruitment processes will be subject to disruption. RGU staff are working from home and the Campus is closed until further notice.

Candidates can continue to apply to all existing advertised posts which will run to their advertised closing date. These posts (and others where the closing date had already passed) will be shortlisted and candidates will be notified whether or not they have been selected for interview. However, interviews will be delayed until the Campus re-opens.

From 23rd March and until further notice, only Business Critical posts will be advertised but will also be subject to the same interview delays.

We hope you can bear with us in these difficult times and we will be in touch when we have any further updates.
