Transitus (Primary 7) Teaching Assistant

St Columba’s School is situated in the Renfrewshire countryside just 30 minutes from Glasgow.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join us from August 2023. The individual would assist with the Transitus classes at St Columba’s School, Duchal Road, Kilmacolm, PA13 4AU. It is a part time (0.5FTE), term-time position for a 1-year fixed period.

Teaching Assistants perform a vital role within the school community, and it is important that they see themselves as part of the team. Although the Teaching Assistant works under the direction and supervision of the class teacher, it is important that they use their own initiative. Teaching Assistants carry out tasks delegated to them by class teachers and the management team but should always be aware of tasks requiring attention throughout the School.
