The University has a significant and growing portfolio of fully online short courses and degree programmes which are becoming an increasingly important part of our education provision. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional and collaborative individual with demonstrable experience of the online education market to join the University as Head of Online Education to drive forward the continued growth of online provision.

Reporting to the Director of Academic Services and Online Education, the post holder will work closely with the Vice-Principal for Global Engagement to ensure the continued strategic growth of online education in line with the University’s strategic vision and with the Vice-Principal for Regional Engagement to drive forward the University’s approach to upskilling the workforce of tomorrow.

The post offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who have significant experience and understanding of the online education market and the upskilling agenda. Strong team leadership skills and a partnership working approach will be critical along with a demonstrable track record of delivery of projects on time and to a high standard.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 8 scale (£56,048 - £63,059), with placement according to qualifications and experience.
