This is an exciting opportunity for self-motivated individuals who are committed to delivering the highest quality learning experience to our students to join our dynamic Technology and Skills Sector.
As a Lecturer within our Technology and Skills sector you must be qualified to a minimum of SCQF Level 7 in an Engineering qualification and have completed a recognised apprenticeship to SCQF Level 7 or equivalent. You must have evidence of appropriate continuous professional development and commercial experience at supervisory level within a relevant trade. You must be able to demonstrate an understanding of fabrication and welding theory and workshop practices. Experience of various welding techniques including MIG, TIG and MMA is desirable. You must have significant experience of Health and Safety legislation and practice.
Teaching experience is desirable although not essential. Candidates with strong communication skills and positive, supportive attitudes will be considered.
