The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) would like to invite applications for the post of Audio Visual Support Analyst based at any of the Information Communications Technology (ICT) workshop locations, specifically Dundee, Cambuslang, Newbridge, Johnstone or Inverness on a permanent basis.   This is a full-time opportunity, working 35 hours per week.

 

This is a full time post however applications from individuals seeking to work on a part time, job share, or flexible working basis would be considered.

 

The successful candidate will be required to provide a high quality, customer focused comprehensive audio-visual services throughout the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.  This will include first and second line support service to all end users in line with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and the industry standard ITIL framework. They will also ensure proper Audio-Visual provision and operation to allow end users to accomplish relevant business tasks to meet the current and future needs of the SFRS business.

 

Previous experience of installing and supporting an extensive Audio Visual (AV) Estates is paramount. The effective management of faults and service requests relating to Audio Visual hardware, and associated peripherals and any related software applications is key to this role. Knowledge and experience of commissioning Microsoft Teams Room AV equipment and any associated software would be advantageous but not essential.

 

Applicants will require to have relevant qualification(s) or equivalent experience in Audio Visual / ICT function(s) and be technically fluent in the installation, configuration and support of Audio Visual and / or ICT technologies.  A full, valid UK driving licence is also required.

Salary on appointment will normally be at the lower salary point, with progression subject to regular review - in line with the SFRS performance appraisal arrangements.  A higher salary placing will be considered in exceptional circumstances subject to experience demonstrated.
