We are looking for a Senior Practitioner to join our Perthshire based Domestic Abuse Service.

Applicants should be committed, enthusiastic, motivated and have excellent communication skills and able to work in a collaborative manner, evidencing a respectful and inclusive approach. You will be creative, innovative, adaptable and dynamic and able to ensure high quality delivery of person-centred and robust services to women and girls experiencing domestic abuse and their children.

Perth and Kinross Domestic Abuse Service (P&KDAS) is a partnership between Barnardo's and Perthshire Women's Aid, providing a service to women and children experiencing domestic abuse across Perth and Kinross. Our aims are to work towards the reduction and prevention of domestic abuse and enable women and children to live without the fear of domestic violence and abuse; to work in partnership with Police Scotland and collaboratively with other agencies including Violence Against Women Partnerships to provide women experiencing domestic abuse and their children with accessible high quality services. The successful postholder will be based within Perthshire Women' Aid covering Perth and Kinross. We are looking for applicants who are experienced in undertaking risk assessments; safety planning; providing emotional and practical support; and committed to enabling and capacity building support for partner agencies.

Applicants must be willing to work flexibly around the needs of our services users and have a driving licence and have access to a car. They must have a relevant professional qualification/ or work experience.
