Barnardo's Caern Project Edinburgh - We deliver a variety of quality services for young people with learning disabilities and/or autism.

We are seeking Senior Residential Project Worker's (Level 2) to support young people with learning disabilities and/or autism and their families/carers to achieve positive outcomes.

Working primarily in the residential setting you will promote the happiness, safety and welfare of the young people during short breaks.

Ideally you will have experience of:

  • Working with young people and the required qualifications for full registration as a residential child care worker with the SSSC or willingness to work towards them.
  • A social care setting, possess qualifications for registration with the SSSC as a Residential Child Care Worker
  • Working with challenging behaviour.

These posts are subject to an enhanced check through Disclosure Scotland - PVG Scheme.
