Principal Valuer (Part Time)(Temporary until 31 March 2018)
Pay Scale G10 (£44,785 to £46,154 pro-rata)
We are looking to recruit a Principal Valuer to work 17.5 hours per week (2.5 days) within our busy Valuation Team. You should be a Chartered Surveyor with significant experience in valuation for Rating and Council Tax purposes and have excellent working knowledge of the law and practice of valuation for Rating and Council Tax. We would particularly welcome applications from Chartered Surveyors with significant experience in the valuation of large contractors based subjects.
Duties will include the survey and valuation of a wide range of property for Rating purpose, the negotiation of appeals with ratepayers and professional agents and the presentation of evidence before the Valuation Appeal Committee.
