Events Officer, Edinburgh

Full-time (36 hours per week)

£28,593 - £32,588 (SCP 14 – 19)

We are looking for a full-time Events Officer to join our Fundraising Team. The individual will play a key role in:

· maximising income with a focus on events, corporate and individual fundraising

· raising the profile of Circle with a focus on internal and external communications and social media content

· work in partnership with colleagues across Circle in the development of fundraising for projects and activities

Applicants should have experience of engaging with different communities, including supporters, community groups and businesses, and encourage their support for Circle’s work to raise income.

Experience of sustaining and developing events, corporate and individual fundraising similar to our DARED running challenge, the Kiltwalk and other events is essential.

As part of the Circle Fundraising Team being able to contribute to the development and upkeep of the fundraising database and maintain complete and accurate records relating to fundraising, marketing and communications activities, and report on their performance on a regular basis to the management team as required would be advantageous.

Experience of managing an organisation’s internal and external content and communications through mediums such as newsletters, Twitter and Facebook would be advantageous.
