This is a new service and premises have yet to be confirmed, will be providing a service and based in North Lanarkshire area.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with us and our other Take Control teams in establishing a new service in North Lanarkshire delivering a specialist advice and support service to individuals either in receipt of or eligible for a Direct Payment from Social Services. When we can do so safely, the service will also provide a supported environment to encourage service users to come together to share ideas and experiences.

We are looking for our new Take Ctrl team to work closely with GCIL staff and our existing Take Ctrl teams in East Dunbartonshire and South Lanarkshire to quickly establish our presence and service in North Lanarkshire.

We are currently recruiting for the following:

Self-Directed Support Coordinator (Ref: SDS-NL-2021.2)

Role Overview

Responsible for managing the Take Ctrl staff team and office on a day to day basis and for assisting North Lanarkshire residents in receipt of Self Directed Support (SDS) funding from Social Work Services to manage their own support arrangements effectively.

Post is funded for 3 years.

Please note that initially you will be required to work from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

These post will require PVG scheme membership.
